What is it!?!

The question that pops in my mind whenever someone tries to talk to me. Do I sound too obnoxious now? I have issues when talking to certain people. Yes, I'm very picky. And I am known to have very few patience. To which is why, it certainly amazes me as to how I had survived and even tolerated stupidity in this line of work. I'd rather not talk about it, now I'm beginning to be too discriminating.

Some people are often misled to believe that if you work as a call center agent, you're referred to as someone who's cool. You'd think that your friends would think highly of you if you chose this kind of occupation. This is not one of those regular jobs where you can just slack off. This is also not something to be envied of. It drains your mind and your body if you don't know how to manage time and energy. You are often forced to leave the life you had been living. And the routine would be work-sleep-eat-bathe-work and you know that cycle. It's just a matter of getting used to it and setting your mind to think of anything but the negative.

As for me, I'm lucky enough to have gone past those eye-dropping, aging, zombie-like days. New team, new schedule and a well adjusted life. Although the pay won't be as much as what GY shift would be like, but hey it's either money or a normal life. At least, that's what I think. Sometimes it amuses me as how some of the people I know are trying so hard to get into this kind of work, I've given hints that it's not that easy but they persist. Well, it's not like I'm undermining their capacity, but I know them well enough to be unable to handle stress and pressure at the same time. Oh well, to each his own.
